Topics vs. narratives — what’s the difference?
A topic is a single keyword cluster we monitor on social media — for example regulation, etf, halving, or depeg. A narrative is a wider market theme that often spans multiple topics and groups of assets (e.g. the AI narrative pulls in topics like agents, inference, and compute). Topics are the raw signal; narratives are the editorialised view.
Each tile below links to a topic detail page with social volume, sentiment, and heat history. Use this page when you want to investigate a single concept; use the narratives heatmap for cross-cutting themes.
